What documents do you need to provide to receive a pension certificate from the pension fund?

What is an extract from the Pension Fund of Russia

An extract from the Pension Fund is a document (SZI-6) confirming a citizen’s rights to a pension and containing information about an individual personal account (IPA).

The statement contains the following items:

  1. Pension points received for the entire period of work (IPC).
  2. The amount of pension savings.
  3. The length of service taken into account for the calculation of pension savings.
  4. Length of work experience (at each place of work).
  5. Information on the basis for early assignment of a pension (if any).
  6. If savings are formed in a non-state pension fund, their amount and information about the company are indicated.

How to obtain a pension certificate from the Pension Fund

Regardless of the method you choose, the certificate will be provided to you in physical form - on paper, with signatures and seals of the department. Methods are now being developed to obtain a certificate online, in electronic format, but it is more reliable to have a physical document.

When you might need it

  1. When you contact government authorities with requests for additional payments or to apply benefits to you (for example, subsidies).
  2. If you are going to travel abroad and need to show where you got the money from.
  3. At the military registration and enlistment office, if requested there.
  4. At the bank, if you want to get a loan, you need to confirm the amount of income.
  5. When requesting a social card for free travel on public transport (submitted instead of a pension certificate).
  6. When receiving titles and regalia (for example, “Veteran of Labor”).
  7. If you want to take advantage of pensioner discounts in supermarkets and shops.
  • In regions where wages are multiplied by a regional coefficient of 1.5, the average income is 2,100 rubles.
  • In areas where official income is multiplied by 1.5–1.8, income is 2,600 rubles.
  • If the coefficient is 1.8, the income is 2,900 rubles.

A certificate of income is issued at the enterprise where the citizen worked for the period for which confirmation must be provided. To do this, a potential pensioner must contact the accounting department of his former place of work with a statement written in free form. Article 62 of the Labor Code of the Russian Federation obliges the employer to process data and provide the citizen with the necessary materials. Dismissed employees of an enterprise have the same rights to data processing as employed citizens. The law does not specify which category of population the article applies to, so in practice a citizen can submit a corresponding request and obtain the necessary information related to work and employment.

Document submission rules

  1. The presence of an official salary for the period from 2021 to 2021 is less than 2,000 rubles.
  2. Lack of official earnings for this period.
  3. Employment for less than 24 months.
  4. The PF department does not have information on a citizen’s income for the period from 2021 to 2021. In this case, information is provided for any 60 months of work prior to this date. It is recommended to choose a period in which income exceeded average earnings by 20%.

In order to obtain a certificate legally, you must contact the HR department or the company’s accounting department at your place of work. If the company is liquidated, you can submit an application to the tax authority at your place of residence. One of the legal ways to obtain a certificate is a personal account with the Federal Tax Service of the Russian Federation on a single portal. To do this you need:

The current legislation clearly states that you can only obtain a certificate from a tax agent. Using other resources, the client can buy an income certificate, which contains similar information, but is not an established sample. Therefore, those who do not have the opportunity to obtain a supporting document are asked whether it is possible to make a 2-NDFL certificate to order.
