Where to get a medical examination to get a job

Medical examinations are carried out in medical institutions with which the employer enters into a special agreement. This agreement assumes that all financial costs for undergoing a medical examination are fully borne by the employer and determines the method of payment. Typically, in such a case, payment is made by non-cash payment.

If this agreement is not concluded, the employee undergoes a medical examination at a medical institution at his place of residence. However, all costs for this procedure are also borne by the employer.

Where can I get an initial medical examination?

You can undergo a medical examination at any private or public clinic .
The main condition is that the institution has a license to provide services of this kind. You need to find out in advance whether there is a psychiatrist in the clinic: quite often there is not, and then to obtain the appropriate certificate you need to contact the psychoneurological dispensary (psychiatric dispensary) located at your place of residence.

Often organizations have concluded agreements with medical institutions, and applicants for vacancies are sent there. This speeds up the process of passing the medical examination.

The cost of the examination depends on the number of upcoming examinations. The employer pays for the medical examination upon employment . Costs per applicant for a vacancy can vary from 500 to 4500 rubles. If the applicant passes it at his own expense, then the employer is obliged to compensate all expenses.

The procedure for undergoing a medical examination depends on its type.

Types of medical examinations:

  • periodic – carried out by employees who do not change their place of work. Appointed at intervals determined for each type of profession separately;
  • extraordinary - carried out if necessary at the request of the employee or recommendations of medical workers.

Who pays

The employer pays for the medical examination because such a medical service is not covered by the compulsory insurance system. The employer also pays for this procedure in the following cases:

  • if for any reason the employee needs to undergo a medical examination again;
